OOTD - Sun, Sun, Sun!

Today because it was a beautifully sunny day (admittedly a weeny bit chilly) and being British me, Alice and our friends had a beach BBQ to make the most of it. I love how as soon as the sun comes out everyone instantly digs ot their summer wardrobe and rushes to make the most of it with BBQ's and picnics! To me that's what living in England is all about, here's what I wore.....

JUMP

Found this amazing jumpsuit in a charity shop today for just £8.99!!! It will be so perfect for summer and I can't wait to wear it in all out 70's style! Its originally from Dorothy Perkins and as far as I can tell it has never been worn, so all in all a great find :)

The legs are so floaty and lovely and it has really nice ruching detail at the waist which is surprisingly flattering! It also has a tie at the back and cut out detail. I plan to wear it with these which are on my current wishlist.....

OOTD + OOTN

This is very overdue but this is the outfit that i wore out in the day and then to my friends birthday celebrations at the pub last week. I'm really pleased with this dress, its a new charity shop find (originally Gap) and i think it will be very wearable. It was great to find something with a dipped hem second hand as there are so many on the high street atm!

Last Week In Pictures

This is a VERY overdue post but after having a week of doing no work whatsoever I have been really busy. Last week I went skiing in Val Cenis, France, it was so so beautiful there and being in the mountains was a really nice change and break from everything. On the way back we spent a night in Troyes which is a lovely city full of amazing medieval buildings. Here are some pics,

Sorry for not posting yesterday had a very busy day!! Anyways, went charity shop shopping with my friend Becca and I found some absolute bargains!

If you have the patience I really recommend having a browse around your local charity shops as you can find some great stuff, I was really pleased with the pieces I bought yesterday and think they with be very wearable. The black dress is really lovely and will be perfect for going out in, the slip dress skims over the body and I am planning to layer it up with jumpers in the winter and wear with bare legs, sandals and a cardi when summer finally arrives. Better photos of these clothes to come! look out for outfit posts :)

Shopping Spree

 Just thought i would share with you a few of my recent purchases over the last month or so, although I already have way too many clothes, new things are always too tempting!!

I found this Princess Leia T-shirt in the Topshop sale in the Oxford Street store, although its kinda geeky I've always loved Star Wars and really like the pastel colours in this T-shirt

This dress is from the Reformed line at Urban Outfitters. It is lovely and floaty and sheer with a delicate black floral pattern on the fabric, I can't wait to wear it in the summer with sandals and lots of jewellery but I could probably also wear it in winter with tights and chunky heels.

These are wide legged trousers from Urban Outfitters with an orange segment print. I saw them last year but they had a mega discount in the sale so I though why not! they are very floaty and comfortable and also surprisingly flattering, bring on the summer!

I bought this leopard print skirt in the Zara sale, its really easy to wear and I have worn it lots already (see outfit post) I also like how instead of being classic leopard print (yellow/brown) its a lovely mixture of dark greys.

I found this skirt in the british heart foundation (originally oasis) for £3.99! its amazing! almost ankle thength silver/black lurex with a thigh high side split. Its a little bit tight so i might need to trim up a little before I wear it but its pretty stretchy so i can't wait to wear it out.

 Heres some of the jewellery that i have bought...Silver necklace-Urban Outfitters, Earrings left to right, vintage style enamel earrings, gold and pink robot earrings, black and gold clam shell earrings, all Forever21. I loved all these earrings and in Forever21 all the jewellery is SO CHEAP ! 

Can't wait to start wearing these things! look out for them in upcoming outfit posts although a couple of them definitely require warmer weather hopefully we'll have a nice a long summer this year (fingers crossed) hope you enjoyed seeing what i've been buying at the moment.
