Dull Day Made Bright

So once again yesterday was another rainy day but luckily the rain held off for my photos! I just wanted to be comfy and warm but I needed something to make me feel slightly better: the answer = pink lips! I rarely wear lipstick or any kind of lip colour (usually just stick to my trusty Vaseline), but I recently rediscovered this one and I love it!

It's A Beautiful Day

Yesterday was a day of lunch, shopping, afternoon tea and dog walking. It was just the right temperature really - breezy (hence the jacket) but the sun was out! I had a really lovely day actually and this was what I wore:

OOTD - Sun, Sun, Sun!

Today because it was a beautifully sunny day (admittedly a weeny bit chilly) and being British me, Alice and our friends had a beach BBQ to make the most of it. I love how as soon as the sun comes out everyone instantly digs ot their summer wardrobe and rushes to make the most of it with BBQ's and picnics! To me that's what living in England is all about, here's what I wore.....

Mummy's Lunch

This is slightly delayed I know but for Mother's Day on Sunday I went to zumba in the morning with my mum, then down to the seafront to take photos and then out to the pub for lunch/dinner! Decided against showing my gym outfit but this was my outfit for the walk and meal. I wore my hair up and out of my face on the beach but took it down for the meal. It was a delicious meal and I went home well and truly stuffed!

OOTD + OOTN

This is very overdue but this is the outfit that i wore out in the day and then to my friends birthday celebrations at the pub last week. I'm really pleased with this dress, its a new charity shop find (originally Gap) and i think it will be very wearable. It was great to find something with a dipped hem second hand as there are so many on the high street atm!

Yesterday it was one of my best friends birthdays so last night we all went to the pub to celebrate. It was pretty chilled so I didn't wear anything too fancy but this is what I wore. I put my black leather jacket on for warmth before I left as well:

I Predict A Riot

I realise this is a week overdue but  I thought it was still worth sharing as I had such a good time! Last week on Thursday I went to see the Kaiser Chiefs at the HMV Hammersmith Apollo in London and they were amazing! I saw them last year at V Festival but they were just as good if not better this time round. I always forget how many hits they have actually had but it was hit and after hit after hit. I managed to take a few photos of my outfit and during the gig (the quality is awful be warned):

Although were sitting down (I pretty much always stand at gigs) and we were very high up it was just so good! They opened with Everyday I Love You Less And Less and it just kicked off from there! The support bands were Fixers (love them) and Frankie and the Heartstrings who I saw at Camp Bestival two years ago and they were great as well. UH-MAY-ZING.

Suede Leopard

I absolutely love this jacket!! its a super soft suede, vintage french connection jacket which was given to me by my next door neighbour who was having a clear out, best freebie ever! but sadly not very warm and i was freezing walking to and from college seeing as it started snowing tiny flakes today...i wonder if we'll wake up tomorrow in a winter wonderland?
