Spotty Socks

Today was absolutely freezing so I wasn't feeling a dress or anything too fancy. So this is the mix of things I ended up in:

As I was feeling slightly un-inspired today, hence the colour choices (or lack of), I thought maybe patterns were the way forward. A tiny peek of spotty socks and a stripey t-shirt seemed like a good idea. It was also an excuse to wear my new necklace from ASOS (I love it!). As it was so cold, I put my trusty black leather jacket on as well.

Suede Leopard

I absolutely love this jacket!! its a super soft suede, vintage french connection jacket which was given to me by my next door neighbour who was having a clear out, best freebie ever! but sadly not very warm and i was freezing walking to and from college seeing as it started snowing tiny flakes today...i wonder if we'll wake up tomorrow in a winter wonderland? Online shopping is a dangerous thing for me, especially when sales are involved! Over January I have bought a number of things, mostly from me going crazy online but a few items are from in store.

10 Things I Hate About You

10 Things I Hate About You is one of my favourite films of all time, not just becuase it involves lots of shots of Heath Ledger grinning, all cute and gorgeous but because it stars Julia Stiles. Her character Katerina Stratford is fantastic and although her wardrobe contains some seriously dodgy 90's platform flip-flops (see above) I still LOVE her!!

I love the soft wavy plait and double silver hoop earrings combination in this scene, it looks so pretty and simple, I think it would look really nice in the summer all beachy and relaxed. Definitely going to aim for a Kat Stratford vibe at some point!

Golden Cupcake

Blake Lively was promoting a new S'more cupcake at Sprinkles bakery in New York this month and at the launch she looked amazing! Her outfit was from the Gucci Resort 2012 Collection (and Brian Atwood green heels). I love the shirt/skirt combination and the way her necklace fits right under the collar. Her hair and make-up was simple (she is wearing a gold skirt..) and she looked lovely! And all for charity as well!
