I regularly find myself browsing ASOS (it has become a bit of an issue) and I just fall in love with everything I see! I was looking on the 'new in' section today and here are some of the things I am lusting after:

Skeleton Grey

Yesterday it was one of my best friends birthdays so last night we all went to the pub to celebrate. It was pretty chilled so I didn't wear anything too fancy but this is what I wore. I put my black leather jacket on for warmth before I left as well:

I Predict A Riot

I realise this is a week overdue but  I thought it was still worth sharing as I had such a good time! Last week on Thursday I went to see the Kaiser Chiefs at the HMV Hammersmith Apollo in London and they were amazing! I saw them last year at V Festival but they were just as good if not better this time round. I always forget how many hits they have actually had but it was hit and after hit after hit. I managed to take a few photos of my outfit and during the gig (the quality is awful be warned):

Top: ASOS
Shorts: Topshop
Coat: ASOS
Tights: Primark
Shoes: Converse
Earrings: Forever21
Bag: Vintage
Lipstick: Fearne at Boots

Although were sitting down (I pretty much always stand at gigs) and we were very high up it was just so good! They opened with Everyday I Love You Less And Less and it just kicked off from there! The support bands were Fixers (love them) and Frankie and the Heartstrings who I saw at Camp Bestival two years ago and they were great as well. UH-MAY-ZING.

London Day Out, OOTD and Haul

Despite going to London pretty frequently, I never seem to do "the sights" - I either go shopping, or go to whatever I'm there for be it a gig or event or something like that. Yesterday me and my friend Emily went sightseeing around London and then of course being me, did a bit of shopping as well. We also went to the Forever21 bloggers event but couldn't stay long unfortunately. This was my outfit for the day. I know it's plain but I wanted something comfy!

Me being the ultimate tourist outside Buckingham Palace

Top: H&M
Cardigan: H&M
Coat: ASOS
Scarf: Primark
Jeans: Primark
Bag: H&M
Converse: Office
Earrings: Urban Outfitters

Like I said I was going for comfort over style but in the end my feet hurt from all the walking anyway! Typical. Here are some other snaps from the day out:

So we did wander round Selfridges and Harrods drooling over expensive handbags and designer clothes but we eventually found ourselves on Oxford Street and I purchased two things. I had seen this shirt on a girl at college and although I don't usually like to do this, I just had to get it! I also saw this necklace on my friend at the party I went to on Monday, although she has it in gold, and couldn't say no!

Silver Necklace £6.99 from H&M

Rabbit Shirt £12.99 from H&M

Just one last silly thing I got which is delicious...

Marshmallow Fluff from Selfridges (always been a fan haha)

It was a lovely day overall. Had a nice lunch in Pret and an afternoon ice cream in Knightsbridge. Rosie is back tomorrow - yay! Will keep on posting and see you later! I have just realised this was a VERY long post!

Mex Tex or Tex Mex?

I received an email from ASOS promoting various new ranges and deals but one of the features which caught my eye was the 'Mexican Rave' range. ASOS describe the products as taking "a trip down Mexico way with fluro florals, bright patterns and colourful embellishment. Your inspiration? Frida Kahlo self-portraits and El Dia de los Muertos decorations". Here are some of the stand-out pieces for me:

ASOS Pom Pom Denim Hotpants £25

ASOS Mex Tex Print Strappy Playsuit £40

ASOS Multi Arrow Spike Necklace £25

ASOS Helix Platform High Sandal £65

ASOS go on to describe it: "It started as the cool girl’s fancy dress of choice; now Day of the Dead skulls, along with Aztec prints, distressed denim and a heady trip of neon are mixing it up as spring’s most vibrant look. Motif T-shirts and stacks of friendship bracelets are an easy way into the trend, or keep it fresh and team loud prints on tops and dresses with sporty details or flashes of fluoro."

I think it is a really fun collection full of brights perfect for summer and the festival season. I would love to get my hands on even just one thing (probably the playsuit or shorts) and will use my student discount as best I can here! If you are a student, and haven't already, check out https://www.myunidays.com/ as you can get discount codes without having an NUS card! It's great!
