More Money Spent

This is a sort of collective haul from the past few weeks but I went to London yesterday and ended up buying a few things. The annoying this is I went to some different markets around London and really only bought things from mainstream shops.. But I am pleased with the things I got so here they are:

Rings and necklace: Forever 21 all £2.83

Black High Sqin Ankle Jeans: H&M £24.99

Top: Velvet £22

Boots: Office £20

Trousers: H&M £14.99

I am very pleased with the things I have bought actually and most of them (probably not the boots though) will be good for spring/summer!

I Predict A Riot

I realise this is a week overdue but  I thought it was still worth sharing as I had such a good time! Last week on Thursday I went to see the Kaiser Chiefs at the HMV Hammersmith Apollo in London and they were amazing! I saw them last year at V Festival but they were just as good if not better this time round. I always forget how many hits they have actually had but it was hit and after hit after hit. I managed to take a few photos of my outfit and during the gig (the quality is awful be warned):

Top: ASOS
Shorts: Topshop
Coat: ASOS
Tights: Primark
Shoes: Converse
Earrings: Forever21
Bag: Vintage
Lipstick: Fearne at Boots

Although were sitting down (I pretty much always stand at gigs) and we were very high up it was just so good! They opened with Everyday I Love You Less And Less and it just kicked off from there! The support bands were Fixers (love them) and Frankie and the Heartstrings who I saw at Camp Bestival two years ago and they were great as well. UH-MAY-ZING.

I LOVE WI-FI! UO wishlist

Hellooo everyone, although I don't actally get back till tomorrow evening (thought I was getting back today!) the hotel I am staying in overnight has wi-fi woop! so i thought I would do a quick post. I have been skiing this week in france (more to come on that once i am home and have my camera cable) and have had a great time! we had really good weather and the mountains were beautiful.

While I'm having a bit of down time I thought I would do a quick wishlist for some new things I would like for the new season, although alot of the clothes from Urban Outfitters are quite alot out of my price range, a girl can hope right! but I would like to try and save up and get a couple of really nice things and alot of their stock usually ends up in the sale! These are from the 'new in' section on their website...

Lots more posts on their way to make up for the last week!!! see you soon

Reading Haul

So on Wednesday I went to Reading for an interview and being me, I had to check out the shopping scene as well! I had a double points voucher for Boots so naturally, I had to use that. And then I just went into a few other places. Here are the things I bought:

Skirt £5 Sale and Top £6.99 from H&M

2Pack Mittens £2 Sale and Bangle £1 Sale from H&M

Collection 2000 Skyscraper Mascara, Cotton Buds and Models Own Brush Set from Boots

Red (with free Leighton Denny nail varnish in Crushed Grape) and More Magazine for the journey back home on the train - not my normal magazine choices (I normally go for Look or Grazia) but they had a very limited selection and I was partly swayed by the free nail varnish and the fact More was half price! and Wagamama menu!

Overall think I found some good things (and sale items for cheap!) and had a very nice day finished by a delicious meal at Wagamama (probably my favourite place to eat ever!). I had my classic signature dish of chicken katsu to eat followed by a childish pack of Haribo on the train! A very good day I think.

Sweetie Pie

So Katy Perry has collaborated with Eylure and now has four different sets of eyelashes which all look great! I was in Reading yesterday and popped into Boots to get myself Sweetie Pie and that was the one set they didn't have! I was disappointed as I want to get them for Valentines Day but thought I'd share the range and Katy's thoughts on each set (Graziadaily):

Eylure Katy Perry Lashes Sweetie Pie £5.95 from Boots
"This is a great lash for anyone who wants to try false lashes for the first time. It's sweet and subtle, but adds just the right amount of length and volume."

Eylure Katy Perry Lashes Oh, Honey! £5.95 from Boots
"I love that vintage flick at the corners that this lash gives me. Full, fun and great for day or evening."

Eylure Katy Perry Lashes Cool Kitty £5.95 from Boots
"One of my favourite lashes! A perfect eveningwear lash with manicured tips. It can add the ideal finishing touch for a smoky look that will make people purr as you pass."

Eylure Katy Perry Lashes Oh, My!
"I love Eylure Double Lashes, and I just had to have one for my range of lashes. This style is full of texture, but lightweight and very wearable. The perfect accessory for your eyes."

I personally think Sweet Pie look the nicest followed by Oh, Honey! I don't think I could wear Oh, My! simply because they are so thick! My eyes aren't very big anyway but there are certain things I think only people like Katy Perry can wear! If I manage to get my hands on a pair for Valentines Day I will definitely be reviewing them!

Off Duty

This is by no means a new photo but after going through my tumblr from a while ago, I came accross this picture of Barbara Palvin who is one of my absolute favourite models! I think she is so so gorgeous and looks amazing in everything! This is from London Fashion Week SS11 as she arrived (or left). She is definitely giving off the stylish off-duty model vibe which I love.

Barbara Palvin arriving at London Fashion Week SS11

Her mix of black and grey tones is excellent and I love how relaxed she looks! An element I really like is the turned up sleeves of the blazer with the grey poking out. I think this ties the whole outfit in together. I also really like the style of her bag with the thick chain. Her distressed boots also make the overall outfit much more chilled out. Lastly her scarf completes the look with its busy pattern, but still in neutral tones. I also love the length! For once she is in an outfit I would actually wear: effortlessly cool.

Topshop Is Top

I have been contemplating getting this bag from Topshop for a while now and I still cannot decide whether to get it or not. Orginally I wanted it in black but now I have noticed online that they do it in tan as well! Do I or don't I?

Leather Pocket Tote Bag in Black and Light Tan

I really do love it and I reckon it would be practical as it's quite big with a variety of pockets - but it £65 - do I really need it? It is 100% real leather so is good quality so I am thinking about it! Other items I've been lusting after are:

Left: MIFFIN Lined Biker Boots in Chocolate £38, Right: KONFETTI Glitter Lace Up Shoes £60

I love them both so much but I think it's safe to say the boots are much, much more practical! I can see myself wearing the boots with jeans mostly and the lace-ups also with jeans but for a slightly more dressy occasion rather than an everyday basis (they are multi-coloured glitter). Overall Topshop is in my good books at the moment (especially for its footwear!). I think they have some lovely things in right now but one thing they do need to do is lower their prices! Keep your eyes peeled as a haul containing these items may be on its way...
