Topshop Is Top

I have been contemplating getting this bag from Topshop for a while now and I still cannot decide whether to get it or not. Orginally I wanted it in black but now I have noticed online that they do it in tan as well! Do I or don't I?

Leather Pocket Tote Bag in Black and Light Tan

I really do love it and I reckon it would be practical as it's quite big with a variety of pockets - but it £65 - do I really need it? It is 100% real leather so is good quality so I am thinking about it! Other items I've been lusting after are:

Left: MIFFIN Lined Biker Boots in Chocolate £38, Right: KONFETTI Glitter Lace Up Shoes £60

I love them both so much but I think it's safe to say the boots are much, much more practical! I can see myself wearing the boots with jeans mostly and the lace-ups also with jeans but for a slightly more dressy occasion rather than an everyday basis (they are multi-coloured glitter). Overall Topshop is in my good books at the moment (especially for its footwear!). I think they have some lovely things in right now but one thing they do need to do is lower their prices! Keep your eyes peeled as a haul containing these items may be on its way...

Shopping Spree

Just thought i would share with you a few of my recent purchases over the last month or so, although I already have way too many clothes, new things are always too tempting!!

I found this Princess Leia T-shirt in the Topshop sale in the Oxford Street store, although its kinda geeky I've always loved Star Wars and really like the pastel colours in this T-shirt

This dress is from the Reformed line at Urban Outfitters. It is lovely and floaty and sheer with a delicate black floral pattern on the fabric, I can't wait to wear it in the summer with sandals and lots of jewellery but I could probably also wear it in winter with tights and chunky heels.

These are wide legged trousers from Urban Outfitters with an orange segment print. I saw them last year but they had a mega discount in the sale so I though why not! they are very floaty and comfortable and also surprisingly flattering, bring on the summer!

I bought this leopard print skirt in the Zara sale, its really easy to wear and I have worn it lots already (see outfit post) I also like how instead of being classic leopard print (yellow/brown) its a lovely mixture of dark greys.

I found this skirt in the british heart foundation (originally oasis) for £3.99! its amazing! almost ankle thength silver/black lurex with a thigh high side split. Its a little bit tight so i might need to trim up a little before I wear it but its pretty stretchy so i can't wait to wear it out.

Heres some of the jewellery that i have bought...Silver necklace-Urban Outfitters, Earrings left to right, vintage style enamel earrings, gold and pink robot earrings, black and gold clam shell earrings, all Forever21. I loved all these earrings and in Forever21 all the jewellery is SO CHEAP !

Can't wait to start wearing these things! look out for them in upcoming outfit posts although a couple of them definitely require warmer weather hopefully we'll have a nice a long summer this year (fingers crossed) hope you enjoyed seeing what i've been buying at the moment.

Stay Organised

Ok so I am probably one of the most disorganised people ever. I really do try and stay on top of everything (well mostly...) and get things finished in time, but I do struggle. This post is perhaps one month late in the "organise yourself for the new year" period, but it is still worth a mention to me. Up until late last year I had never had my own diary for organisation purposes. I decided that 2012 was the year for organisation for me and bought myself a very cute 2012 diary.

The diary is from Paperchase, which I think always stocks really pretty stationary, if a little pricey. This cost me £8 and is A6. I definitely wanted something portable but one of the most important factors for me was for it to have times of the day on each page on each date (below).

I just felt this would help me even more! I have got to admit, I haven't strictly kept to using this daily but I will! I highly recommend getting a day-by-day, hour-by-hour diary and Paperchase has some lovely ones!

Naughty Alice

This title could have a number of meanings after me doing more online shopping today! But anyway, this perfume, Naughty Alice by Vivienne Westwood was a Christmas present from 2010 but I honestly did not use it at all. Recently I have rediscovered my love for it and wanted to share! Notes include pink pepper, violet, ylang ylang and black rose.

Boots describes the scent as "Sexy, musky yet comforting, Naughty Alice enriches a women’s senses. Everything is possible and you can unleash the adventurous curiousity from within."

Debenhams describes it as "a sensual and audacious new fragrance inspired by Vivienne Westwood's playful and highly creative imaginary universe. Sexy, musky yet comforting, Naughty Alice enlivens the senses and is the perfect example of modern femininity. The fragrance transports you to a sensual dream world where everything is possible and your adventurous curiosity can be unleashed. This chic feminine and provocative new floriental perfume leaves you with a naughty twinkle in the eye."

Selfridges describes it as "a feminine, audacious fragrance with a dash of cheeky sophistication in typical Vivienne Westwood style. Sexy, yet comforting this floriental fragrance, balanced between the warmth of the hot pink pepper and the elegance of the floral bouquet of violet, ylang ylang and black rose has a naughty feminism that elivens the senses."

Some of these fragrance descriptions are a bit OTT but I would definitely recommend it to anyone that likes a slightly musky scent (although it does have elements of fruits and florals). It lasts throughout the day and I get compliments when I wear it! Overall, I love it! (and fittingly it is named after me!)

I absolutely love this song at the moment and can't get it out of my head! the video is pretty weird but his other videos are even more mental!
I don't know if his eyes are that green in real life but if they are they are amazing! hope you like it,

Foot Candy...

While browsing online and avoiding doing work I have composed a fabulous shoe wishlist! I would really like a fairly comfortable chunky wedge/heel/platform type thing that I won't end up falling over and breaking my neck in! Here is a selection of the most gorgeous......

I apologise for my shameful image editing skills!

80s Grunge

Fearne Cotton is someone to me who never gets it wrong. As I was browsing the Look Magazine website (which I find myself frequently doing), I came across this photo of her from mid-January. She has paired a fisherman's jumper with very bright leopard print tights/leggings and chunky boots. I think her mix of colours is great and her lipstick-sunglasses combination is bang on.

Although I may not be quite brave enough to wear these leggings, I will definitely make an attempt to channel elements of this look into my wardrobe! Her layering is great as well with the shirt underneath and the open jacket. Shes also got her headphones in = complete!
